Nexus7, Tablet pertama guna Jelly Bean

SYARIKAT pengeluar produk teknologi, Asus bersama Google Malaysia baru-baru ini melancarkan peranti tablet pertama dalam portfolio Nexus menerusi model Nexus 7.

Tablet tersebut diperhebatkan dengan perkakas premium serta disokong oleh sistem operasi Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. 

Menurut Pengurus Negara Sistem Asus, George Su, melalui pengenalan tablet dengan skrin bersaiz tujuh inci itu, pihaknya yakin dapat meningkatkan perkongsian pasaran dalam segmen komputer tablet di Malaysia.

"Model terbaru dari Asus yang berkapasiti storan 16 gigabait (GB) itu dilihat seiring dengan permintaan produk komputer tablet yang semakin meningkat.

"Kami yakin gajet ini pasti akan mendapat tempat di hati pengguna selain mampu memberi saingan kepada tablet yang sedia ada di pasaran negara," katanya selepas pelancaran Nexus 7 di ibu negara baru-baru ini.

Sementara itu, Ketua Komunikasi Google Malaysia, Zeffri Yusuf berkata, Nexus 7 dilengkapi koleksi perkhidmatan e-book terbesar selain menawarkan lebih 600,000 aplikasi serta permainan video menerusi platform stor Google Play.

Nexus 7 dibangunkan dengan pemproses empat teras 1.3 giga herz (GHZ) dan Random Access Memory (RAM) 1 GB selain kamera hadapan berkapasiti 1.2 megapiksel.

Katanya, pengguna boleh mengakses aplikasi kegemaran mereka dengan lebih mudah, cepat dan selamat.

Bagi pengguna yang memerlukan perlindungan tambahan, tablet ini menyediakan sarung polimer tahan lasak yang boleh melindunginya dari tercalar.

Nexus 7 berkapasiti 16GB ini telah berada di pasaran dengan harga pengenalan RM999.

Kalau 8GB, berapa pula harganya, kalau di US dalam USD199.
